House buyer demand up by 37%

House buyer demand up by 37%

Demand from prospective buyers looking for new property jumped up over 37% last month, according to new figures from NAEA Propertymark, which also show that a busy New Year also saw more homes put up for sale. However, NAEA suggests increased competition looks set to take its toll this year, with sales to first-time buyers already falling from 32% in December to 27% in January.
