A run with Adam: living and working in Canary Wharf

I shot this video a few weeks ago while I was out for a run around the Isle of Dogs. It’s a fantastic place to run – the Thames snakes around Docklands so you’re never far away from the water, giving you a sense of space like nowhere else in London.
Running gets the endorphins going and clears my head – absolutely essential for a busy estate agent in East London. I wouldn’t have it any other way: East London is my favourite part of the capital and Canary Wharf is a great place to live and work.
Why buy property in Canary Wharf?
Canary Wharf is one of the few places in London where you can live, work and relax without having to travel. Over 100,000 people work in E14, and roughly half that number live on the Isle of Dogs, saving themselves a tedious commute and freeing up more time for rest and relaxation (and going for a run).
Property for sale in E14
There are some amazing residential buildings here on the Isle of Dogs. Pan Peninsula continues to dazzle the people of Canary Wharf with its incredible lighting scheme, and features one-bedroom, two-bedroom and studio apartments, with exclusive facilities for residents of the premier floors.
One Park Drive promises the best in waterside living, right on the river with beautiful landscaped parkland too. It’s soon to be followed by Ten Park Drive, and both will be finished by 2020, creating over 800 new homes in Canary Wharf.
Luxury living at Dollar Bay and Wardian (due to be completed in 2019) set new standards in high-quality London housing developments, along with Dockside, Arena Tower and Orchard Wharf – prestigious properties available to buy off-plan in E14. Whether you’re looking for a home or an investment property in Canary Wharf, you’ll find plenty to choose from.
Things to do in Canary Wharf
Many of these developments feature state-of-the-art facilities for their residents, such as gyms, pools, cinemas and bars. But many of the shops and nightlife venues are independent of the residential towers. The three shopping centres, Canary Wharf, Jubilee Place and Cabot Square provide hundreds of shops selling everything from pints of milk to designer tailoring, and Jubilee Place is even open 24hrs.
The Canary Wharf Group organises countless events throughout the year, with food festivals, open air cinema, family events and more laid on for residents and visitors alike.
Buy, sell and rent property in E14
I’ve been selling and letting property on the Isle of Dogs for years. If you have property to sell in Canary Wharf, give me a shout – valuation is completely free. And if you see me out for a run, make sure you give me a wave!
