Introducing Hunts Wharf, a new affordable housing development for Hackney

At last! We’re ready to start selling units in the brand-new Hunts Wharf in Clapton, Hackney. This has been a really exciting journey for me and the rest of the team at Dockleys, working for with Restoration London to bring affordable housing to first-time buyers in London’s East End.

Why choose Hunts Wharf, E5?

The development is made up of twenty-four apartments, ranging in size from one bed apartments for single people to three bedroom apartments for families. Sturdy, attractive, liveable features appear throughout the apartment, with wood floors, practical modern bathrooms and tried-and-tested appliances, all carefully chosen to enhance the space and help you get the maximum from your home.

The apartments are available in a variety of configurations depending on where they’re located in the block – some are single-storey apartments but the top two floors house some delightful maisonettes.

Features common to all the apartments include open plan kitchen, dining and living areas and generous master bedrooms. Every apartment has outdoor space – so valuable for everything from bees to bike storage, inner peace to parties.

As you’d expect with new build, the properties are all guaranteed for ten years under the CRL guarantee scheme. Each lease has a duration of 150 years.

Clapton – a great place to live in East London

Good old Clapton – an affordable oasis in the London Borough of Hackney, complete with attractive canal and river views, not to mention protected grassland for walking and wildlife.

Clapton is the perfect distance from Central London: you can “go home” every night and enjoy a change of scene, but near enough to be convenient. In fact, proximity to the centre is a key factor for the projects that Restoration London invest in – what’s the point of affordable housing if you still have to fork out £2,000 for your annual travel card? Fortunately, with Clapton station on the border of Zones 2 and 3, you’ll save on your travel card as well as the cost of your flat.

You can find out more about living in Clapton here.
