I set up Dockleys as an East London estate agency in 2017, selling and letting residential and commercial property. Since then, it’s gone from strength to strength, meaning that I have to recruit people to help me!

I’ve got some great team members already and I hope to find even more. Here’s why you might want to work for Dockleys…

1. Great location

I love East London and that’s why I set up Dockleys right here. I find it quite easy to sell property in the East End because I sincerely believe it’s one of the best places to live. Our office was on Brick Lane in Shoreditch and we’ve since moved to the High Street in Stratford. If you already live in one of our key postcodes, you’ll be able to use your local knowledge and enjoy a really short commute into the bargain!

There’s a strong link between East London and the towns of Hertfordshire and Essex, with many people choosing to move between the city and the countryside. Many people who lived in East London in their twenties move out to Hertfordshire in their thirties, while Hertfordshire people wanting to be nearer work often move into East London. That’s why Dockleys also operates out of Little Hadham in Hertfordshire. When we’re recruiting, we welcome Home Counties experts, not just East End estate agents.

2. Great projects

Dockleys works with private and corporate clients, selling and letting property across East London, Hertfordshire and Essex. We work with developers marketing new build and off-plan properties, as well as Help to Buy opportunities. We also sell existing flats and houses and even the occasional historic property.

As a relatively new agency, we’re always exploring different projects and different ways of working. As well as selling and letting property in SE England, we’ve completed a number of successful renovations and even marketed property in totally different cities. We love hearing about new ideas and expanding the range of services we can offer – we welcome people who are as open-minded as we are.

3. Great team

We are a friendly, flexible team. We communicate well and we all muck in. This is a fast-paced working environment (we can’t believe how quickly we’ve sold some of our properties!) but we’ve found most estate agents thrive on it – the Dockleys team is no exception.
